I manage a division of a Spring manufacturing company here in houston.
We have calibrated Spring Testers we use everyday and can inspect and document the rates for as many springs as you wanted to...

hey the dipstick Wayne sent me worked, it stayed in.
just need to find another one. I tried to swedge the inside of the cap on my original stick, but it didnt flare out enough.

Shaun, sorry, I havent figured it out yet. but its seems to be mostly the cap where the dipstick meets the handle that may be worn. but still not sure.

Is there a reference somewhere that shows what the numbers in the diag mode refer to? well the ones that arent a setting but give info.
I found some info in the FSM & electrical, but it doesnt...

Can a new 93z eprom be put into a 90z without a potential harm?

yea !!! maybe so, where it says " at the bottom of the tube " forgive my ignorance
but does that mean i have to completely remove the whole tube from the side of the motor?

ok chk'd the pcv's they are fine..
messed with the dipstick and it really doesnt seem to be enaging, like a snap fit or tight at all.
I barely pulled on it and it moved out.
