Re: JVD BBQ/20th Anniversary Afghanistan
B/G was a good time with plenty of people. JVD put on a great event. Thanks Jim and friends. Probably going to be the best event of the gathering. Jim did you well Eric. Your entire family was honored Thursday. Every one was also honored being there and sharing they're pride in you.
Many THANKS for your service. Stay well |

Eric,
Thanks for your dedicated service and it was touching to be a fellow soldier and have JVD recognize you and your family at this event. Our prayers are with you and your safe return home. Army Strong! Craig CWO, U.S. Army Schofield Barracks, HI

I was "No Mercy 6" during my last tour in the 101st. I wasn't able to make it up to JVD's for Thursday night. In retirement I'm still "workin-for-the-govt" and was dealing with some of the flood issues that remain here in Tennessee. I'm not at all surprised that Jim did something nice for your parents. Take Care...., and always request 30mm from the Apaches - - - Rockets can be sort of "To Whom It May Concern."

Indeed a very fine tribute! Your family had very big smiles on the autocross course as well. See you next year!

Re: JVD BBQ/20th Anniversary Afghanistan
We will be glad to see some Screaming Eagles above us, even though I'm an old 82nd Vet myself, they need to go to the range more, LOL....
We love them Apaches over here!!! Thanks for your service and I hope the floods did not effect your house, i just heard about the floods last week. Enjoy retirement, I would have been able to retire but I could not leave my guys after being with them for over a year, so i decided to come over with them. Take Care, Eric Quote:
