Hit a guardrail on an icy AF bridge in TX in November 2015. Hit front end and spun around and tapped the back corner. Fixed all the common C4 stuff relatively soon. Took longer for the rear end.

Painful to recollect...

4 those that didn't hear the story, I let myself get distracted (and a little jubilant* too - and didn't brake until waaay too late.

*My competition was a Chevy pickup with a "lumpy" idle, cammed LS3. It was a rolling start and we were to remain parallel till we came to a marker (cone) and then 'hammer down"!
However, the pickup driver didn't wait till we reached the marker. Instead he gunned it early and got a length+ on me. I caught up at the top of 2nd as the shift light came on, and when I went to 3rd. from 90 mph to ~120, and then 4th to 144+ he was fading ever faster until I crossed the line. By then he was more than 2 lengths back HA!

Pride goeth before a fall! So, instead of jubilation, I shoulda been on da binders!! I ran off the end of the runway and through a chain link fence and went over a road that ran perpendicular to the runway (so I went nose first into the raised road surface and nose first into the ditch on the other side of the road). Only thing hurt was his (and my) pride!
After Brett and I fixed the damaged body and bumper "horn" & windshield, I had Phoenix (...ex cuz 'ix" was taken already) put on my vanity plates.

Nice work there. I?d like to learn to r&r a rear fender like that. One of mine has been repaired but not so well.

Bumper was replaced
Two bumper trim pieces were also replaced
