Default Don?t be afraid of a little body work

Finally was able to find some time to swap my RH rear quarter panel. Overall I am pleased with the results. I am a total body and panel bonding novice, but patience and persistence pays off. Do not be afraid of a little hard work to Keep The Legend Alive. [ATTACH][ATTACH]

That turned out fantastic! The before picture would definitely deflate many from trying it themselves.

Keeping the beasts alive - absolutely!!

In my case, I had a "little" help from the guru of Corvette restoration - Brett Henderson, after a wild end to a half mile drag race. In spite of the appearance, I WON!

Upon crashing a corvette one must be diligent to pick up all the pieces to put Humpty Dumpty back together again!

My dad ran a Toyota Dealership in the 70's and 80's, so I got to pick from whatever trade-in came into his dealership. I got to own/drive most all of the cars that you now only see at car shows. I would drive whatever I was driving until something better came in. Looking back I should have put all of them in a warehouse somewhere, I'd be seriously car rich now. But that was not the case, such is life.
I never once even considered buying a Corvette back then for two major reasons.
1. There's no such thing a a fender bender in a plastic car.
;-)
2. The dreaded Corvette Tax.

Nope. Pulled the quarter panel off 91 ZR-1 #31 and bonded it on 91 #1900. Used 3M 08115.
