Using a battery tender on a disconnected battery's not a bad idea.
With the disconnected battery you don't have to worry about the electrical system in the car being "hot". So, ya gotta reset your radio presets in the Spring? |

For extra measure I drain all of the gas each time I park, to avoid any chance of fire. I also deflate the tires to prevent an explosion in the event the garage becomes too warm. Next I plan on removing the glass so no one gets cut should it break. Am I being overly cautious? Don't respond til tomorrow. I shut off my electricity in the house every day to preclude any chance of a bad wire causing a problem. ![]() ![]() Marty |
