That's a great looking Z!

While the pumps are connected to the sending unit, the pumps can be removed from the sending unit. If you could find just the sending unit, and your current pumps are good, you could put the old pumps on the new sending unit.

Some folks have had luck with cleaning up the windings on the sending unit so the gas gauge would register correctly. I tried to do that on mine, but the garage was still way off. I replaced my sending unit.
