All that stuff works. I have a 86 coupe with all the suspension parts they make including altering the rear hubs.( altering where rear tie rod hooks on) With an alignment suitable to your needs you will be amazed at the difference.

what do the brackets actually improve?

I might be interested in them.. not the spring as I have on in my toolbox and one in my newer MS I need to install

Jeff, They reduce the amount of Camber change throughout the range of suspension movement.

Does this primarily benefit drag racing or road course? Once u put them on, I suppose a re-alignment is necessary? And what would the specs be?

Both as there is a greater contact patch on the road. Yes, you would have to align the rear wheels and I have no clue what the spec would be. I can get that from Randy when we get closer to a group buy.

Take my car for a ride on July 12th and you can see the difference between the rear suspension in my car compared to yours.

Interesting that u say that Bob. Recently had the car up on Al's lift and noted how the rear tires were wearing in the middle of the tread. I have them at 35psi like the fronts, yet the fronts show even wear. I don't track the car except 1 maybe twice a year, so I was surprised that I am nearly down to the wear bars at the back. This may also be a function of having pushed out the rears because of the wider wheels and the offset. More contact patch sounds like the brackets could help.

There is a hugh difference between my Ruby and Purple cars, The purple car squats like it is taking a dump.

I have found I get better ware running 35psi in front and 30-32 in the rear.
