I have them at 35psi like the fronts, yet the fronts show even wear. I don't track the car except 1 maybe twice a year, so I was surprised that I am nearly down to the wear bars at the back. This may also be a function of having pushed out the rears because of the wider wheels and the offset. More contact patch sounds like the brackets could help.

Seems to me your tire pressure on the rear is a bit high for the tire you are using on the rear.
I cannot think of another reason for wear in the middle of the tread
