Mine is a 4l80e and is still going strong.. hard to beat if you like autos..there is also a site for a company that biulds some wicked 4l80e's and sells upgrade parts- It cost $10k to install in 1994...

I have had 1.82-1.88s with a easy launch 2400 from my 4l80e / irs on 315 bfg dr- holds together pretty good so far- I changed the chip tonight in the trans pcm to match the 3.73s LPF did for it 15...

I would rather have my shop dyno it with me there. The LPE package I have has pistons and rods with the cams - however I think Marc gets same or better performance with his port / fuel tunning etc -...

He just cleaned up my port work / installed long tubes with Corsa's / set the fuel - I went from 12.75 111 to 12.3/12.4's 115 - given diff in weather track etc I still think his labor was worth .25...
