Another vote for what Steve suggests. In my car all 6 components - headunit, CDM, 4 amps - were faulty and had to be fixed. 2 amps had to be replaced

As Crabs says: battery. You may also want to check the battery pole bolts for loose connection. I had a cross treated battery terminal causing power fluctuations.
