The 415 For Sale
There is a 1991 LPE 415 on the registry for sale page. Anyone know the details on that car? Seems like a sweet deal.
Who wants my 94 so I can grab the 415? |

Re: The 415 For Sale
Is it Hal Hunnicutt's? If so, it is a beast and a phenomenal deal. I haven't checked the registry sale page recently. Grab it while you can.

Re: The 415 For Sale
I'd be on it like stink on $#!T if I had any money, or a buyer for my 94. But it isn't even up for sale.
All I want is the motor...I like my 94. Last edited by USAFPILOT; 05-31-2009 at 12:42 PM. |

Re: The 415 For Sale
How does this one with 576 rwhp and 11.2 et compare to other stroker LT-5s that are N/A and no nitrous?

A couple others have done 570's rwhp corrected to Dynojet STD conditions, which corrects about 2.5-3% higher than J1349. Limey's last 415 did 600-ish rwhp STD. Frank's 440 was mid-580's @6700 (SAE) from what I remember. Strongest engine dyno I have seen is high 680's for an LPE 415 with major cams. Corrected to STP conditions. 650-660 is about the norm for the LPE415 cars with the 239/.445 cams. I've heard tale of a Jeal 415 @ 724 many years ago, but not confirmed. Not saying these are all of 'em, just the ones I've collected some numbers on. Would love to see more big ones posted here. Todd |

Re: The 415 For Sale
my 415 and my brother's 415 were both built by Marc Haibeck. We removed the mufflers to really wake them up and ran straight pipe through the X-pipe and produced 585rwhp and 500 rwtq (SAE). With the mufflers present the power was 579 rwhp and 491 rwtq (SAE).
