3-4 days ago I saw a red 90, I think, on Spring Hill road, Vienna (Tyson's corner area, Northern VA).
Again, today, the same 90 followed me onto the service road in front of Koon's Chevrolet in Tyson's corner and turned into Wendy's. Is this anyone in the Forum? |

Could of been Michael or Bob.
Did you get a look at the wheels? Dave WVZR-1 also works in the Tyson's area. Last edited by Jagdpanzer; 04-26-2009 at 04:29 PM. |

Was not me...I was out cruising yesterday in the Reston/Leesburg area. Rich has a 90 red/red and he is out of the Alexandria area.
Found out the AC on my ZR works great... had to try it out a bit ![]() |

The weather was fantastic so I cruised out to BK yesterday afternoon with the top off. Parked next to some Vipers and new Stangs who all had their hoods up like peacocks in full bloom showing off their V10s and 4-cam blower motors. I left my hood down and slipped over to other end of the parking lot to talk to a buddy who has flawless 73 red Dodge Challenger he just finished. When I got back I found about a dozen people standing around my car. When I walked up one of them asked me if that was my ZR-1 and I said sure, you bet. Then one of Stang guys said pop the hood we want to see that 4 cam Lotus motor you got under there. So I lifted the hood for them and answered a few of the usual questions you get. One Viper guys commented he thought the ZR-1 LT5 motor was one of the finest looking engines ever built and it was shame that GM quit making it so soon after introducing it. Then one of the Stang guys said he wished their 4 cam motors looked as good setting under the hood. Needless to say it was very gratifying to see the old King still commanding respect after all these years from the other car communities in the neighborhood.

Not me. I was driving the Blue ZR-1 today.
Rich (Scrrem) has a Red '90, I don't know what wheels he has. He lives in Alexandria. If you ever catch the Red ZR-1, get his eMail so that I can add him to our list. Nice story Phil. That is the kind of reaction I get at shows. Jim |

Next time I bump into him I will pull in with him.
Phil, My first car was 72 Challenger R/T 340, Hemi-Orange w/ black vinyl. Then I had a 73 R/T w/ custom blk laquer w/ 72 Corvette leather seat implanted (I might be able to find a photo somewhere). Also had a 71 covertible, 383 w/ 4 spd, hurst pistol grip, stange tan color but got rid of it due to excessive rust. It wasn't untill 78 I went GM w/ Z28, LM1 w/ 4 spd. |
