LED Tail Lights - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Anyone have a source for a quality LED tail light kit? See lots of kits on eBay, various Corvette vendors but wonder about the quality. Anyone have any feed back or recommendations?

Indeed I suggest Corvette South, They are replacement assemblies that replace the entire housings. You will only need an electronic flasher to make them work. They have about 38 leds per lens ones on ebay have less than half that amount. I paid about $250

Darn,,

on my 89 when I had it with C5 tail lights.. the Halo LEDs were the best IMHO.. I want HALO LED Tails for the C4.. guess I am out of luck

Yep they dont make those as far as I know yet. I have been waiting years for the CMHSL for our cars to have a LED option. So far None as well. A lot of my leds are blocked by the 3d chrome billet rear covers as well.

First time surfing Corvette South, nice site. The LED kit is now $320 but it gives very little info and no brand name. I take it that you were happy with the quality of the buckets and the LED's.

Its not like Altezza mine have no spaces between the rows like above. mine have about 48 leds per lens which is why the kit is more. The Ebay kits cheat the customer led wise and make it a more competitive price point wise. Wow the price did indeed go up at CS if I remember these shipped directly from Ecklers ( I guess CS gets a better discount!!!) so look there the kit may be a little more reasonable.

Yep, starting to get up to speed on what is offered. Looks to be three flavors...the funky looking Altezza (in chrome, regular and smoke), the large LED like at Corvette Central and the 39 diode like yours.

It appears yours (and Ecklers, Corvette South) is imported by IPCW ( www.ipcw.com ). It is also available through Summit Racing for $293.

One final question...is yours like a pancake lens with the circuitry encased in epoxy? I'll either go with the style like yours...or make my own.
