Nothern Exposure '92 #31
My Alaskan ZR-1. One of damn few up here. I've only seen three including mine, but hear there are a couple more.
Some motor work has been done. Plenum, Injector housing ported & 63mm Throttle body. Corsa Cat Backs and some exterior bling. Headders are next. Someday ported heads.

Re: Nothern Exposure '92 #31
Thanks, I'm having the time of my life with this car. No, because of the condition of the pipes when I bought the car, one had the area around the bolts milled flat to fit standard bolts I needed a new one.
I bought two because the finish on my other one wasn't so hot. I got the pipes from John Sullivan from the Members Specials Page. I supplied him the color code and for the additional price of the paint(he sent me the left over) he painted them to my spec. I got the Throttle Body Plate from Carter and used some of the paint I had to do the Bowtie in Yellow also. I'm very pleased with both products and they added just what I thought they would. REBel

No problem Carter, like I said I'm very pleased with the results. Ron and I are friends. He has a highly modified 94 Admiral Blue Z that he races. It's torn down right now, he is putting Stainless Works headders on it. Very nice looking and fitment on those as well.

http://www.zr1netregistry.com/forum/...ead.php?t=7505 Manfred E........ 91 #906 http://pnwzr1.net Thank's everyone for your kind words. Tomcat, I just might do that. I've been wanting to redrive parts of 'Route 66'. My uncle and I did it in the late sixties in his '62 Vert. I can take the Alaska State Ferry System from Whitier, AK to Bellingham, WA thus avoiding miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles... of bad road. Combining the events. Hummm! Sounds good to me. REBelZ

I think there were about 6 when I left Anchorage in 95. My first taste of being in a ZR-1 was from the one Bill Allen owned. A black 90. I would love to find that car. I still miss Anchorage. |
