Default Ride Height Adjustment

I've tried making ride height adjustments by installing a set of longer leaf spring anchor bolts. While it did allow me to lower the ride height there is not sufficient adjustment to level ride height.

The FSM shows a stack of spacers above the leaf spring and between the differential carrier and the spring anchor plate. This looks like the designed and intended adjustment to ride height.

Anyone have any experience with making ride height adjustments by reducing the spacer stack and are there unintended consequences of this method?

dont reduce them.. move them from the top to the bottom of the spring. leave at least one on the top

you want to keep a small amnt of downward rake or you will look like an old mustang going down the road. and get so much air going under the car at 70-80 that the steering will feel way light .jmho
