Default Steering colums on C-4's

I was just browsing around at the car craft show in St. Paul MN, when i came across an idea of putting a telescoping steering colum/or wheel on my ZR-1, i know that the early C-4 cars had them but don't remember ever seeing any of the newer ones.
Does any one know If this can be done, and if so how hard it might be to accomplish.

No idea, and I never even thought of it. I suspect you might want to call GM if you don't get any feedback from anyone who might have attempted it.

I dont think that you will be putting one in your ZR1 anytime soon.

Can it be done Im sure you could do it but your probably thinking of useing a 89 and earlier steering wheel and colum, you would loose your airbag and you would have to rewire it completely to make the function work.

I also dont know if you would have the room to use the colapsing function with the newer dash??

But anything is possible if you really want it
