Default Out with the old.

Wouldn't you say it's about time to replace the shifter knob? HeHe

I called up one of the big chevy dealerships here in town and they had one left in stock $160 ouch. The've been discontinued and that was the last one they will ever have. The guy behind the parts counter asked me if I had my order in for the new one ZR-1 yet. I said yes, and then I woke up.

They said the've been discontinued as of march. That may have something to do with it. I don't know.

Ecklers has them, minus the top plastic cover (they have the top cover too, but it is white lettering)

I just reused the original plastic button with yellow lettering. I also put a new fuel filter in and oil change. That new fuel filter seemed to make a difference. It was very noticable. It accelerated smoother and with a little more balls than before. A Volkswagon GTI thought he was going to show me what he had. I was very fair and gave him three chances. Even let him get the jump one me. But he was no match for KOTH.
