Default OBD Port mounting

Anybody have a clue (Pics would be wonderful!) of the mounting for the diagnostic port under the steering column? The idiots that mounted the stereo undid it and just left it hanging. I think I have everything, but can't see how it attached to the knee bolster.

????

Thanks Nick. Is the OBDII port still centered up in the knee bolster, or is it off to the side? Is yours attached to the knee bolster or the dash underneath?

Ken that is the Same as our 90 cars, it is mounted on the side near the tunnel, you need to drop the carpeted hush panel to mount it.. unless the bracket is still mounted to the panel

So, I'm mistaken when I think it goes through the square opening in the carpet? Or just underneath the carpet? It mounts to the right of the steering wheel, next to the tunnel?

Thanks,

KT

Thanks Jeff. Makes far more sense now. I kept looking in my FSM for a diagram, and couldn't find a thing.
