Corvette American Flag Corvettes at Carlise
This is posted just in case any of you you missed the following post by Maureen, (MO) Waller to subscribers to ZR-1 net:
"Picked off the Corvettes at Carlisle site. I only have access to ZR1Net msgs, not registry msgs so don't know if you've seen this. Corvette American Flag Corvette is the American Dream Sports Car! At the 2008 Corvettes at Carlisle, we will create a Corvette American Flag Tribute. 104 Corvettes are needed to park in the Gate 1 lot, beside NCRS in Building G, to create the flag. The tribute will be on Friday, August 22, 2008. All participants will receive free parking in the Gate 1 lot on 8/22/08 as well as a free digital copy of an aerial photo of the Corvette Flag. This display is sure to receive lots of national attention. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this special tribute to our country! My Z will be in the red section
However, two more blue and one white vette are needed Just recieved the following note from John Come on you snow whites and blues brothers, sign up your ZR-1s Hi Everyone, There are still a couple of spots left for a Blue Vette (Electron Blue, LeMans Blue, or Admiral Blue), or a White Vette, for a Corvette American Flag Aerial Photo at Corvettes @ Carlisle this August.
