Thanks for the heads up. I need only one, but bid on the entire lot with the intent of selling the rest to others who need one for NCRS. (Assuming they are actually PF970 & not PF970C)

You're right, the original is black.

there was some discussion about that last year...if i remember well,the original ones were black,with no code bar...the next generation was still black,but had the code bar,and the latest ones from gm are blue...the first generation is almost impossible to find...what you get on ebay is the later ones...i have about a dozen of the second ones with the code bar

forgot to mention...no need to buy the blue ones on ebay,as they are still available from gm,at least around here
