Wondering if anyone else has had this issue... Every time the coolant temp reaches ~212 degrees F, the AC compressor shuts off and does not turn back on until the coolant temp cools to ~195-200 degrees F. It is a brand new R12 compressor filled with R12 freon. I am getting cold AC while the engine is warming up to 212. No fault codes in the climate control module. I am wondering if the high side pressure is getting too high? Let me know what y'all think. Thanks

Was there any ECM programming by GM perhaps to reduce load when engine was warm? Seems this sort of measure wouldn?t be implemented until higher temp but maybe..
