Re: The time is 415!
Graham dynoed the 415 yesterday. He was only able to get one pull, but that first pull was good. With a very rich 11:1 air/fuel ratio and ignition timing retarded for safety, it pulled 507rwhp.
Graham will have it back on the dyno Saturday. He expects to see 530ish once it's leaned out with more timing. Stay tuned! |

Re: What time is it?
Nice numbers. More than mine. But I kept the stock cams. Still can cruise through town at 20mph comfortably.

Re: What time is it?
Thanks Subfixer. I was originally going to have Graham do a stock cam build just like yours. I love a sleeper and you've got a great one. I wrestled between the sleeper and a car capable of running 10s at the dragstrip, and that's in the cams. The regrinds are fairly inexpensive, so I fell on that side of the fence. I'm keeping my stock cams so if I ever change my mind, I'm a cam swap away.

Re: The time is 415!
I don?t know if I understand the logic behind increasing displacement without implementing the cams and porting to allow filling and take advantage of that displacement w requisite fuel/air volume
