Default Leaking cylinder head plug

Hey guys

I'm going through my new to me 91 ZR-1 and going over it to make sure everything is okay and cleaning it up to my standard.

I've noticed oil slowly leaking from the plugs pictured at the back of the cylinder heads.

The service manual doesn't seem to go into enough detail to confirm that the pictured plug is the lifter gallery plug, and if so what the torque value to reinstall it is.

Am I right in thinking the pictured plug is the lifter gallery plug?

Anything I need to be mindful of if I'm looking at removing them so I can reinstall them and reseal them with Loctite 565?

These are tapered pipe plugs and can be difficult to remove. Suggest resealing only the ones that are leaking.

They are for plugging the ends of the drilled oil galleries that feeds oil to the lifters and and cam bearings.

Have same issue. Same drip has been there for years. I don?t see spots on the vround or smell burning oil,

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Based on the feedback received and the fact I'm likely to pull the engine within the next year I'll monitor it and if not leaking too badly I'll leave it until the motor comes out.
