Default The Little Things

Sometimes it's the little things that bring the most joy. Finally got new emblems installed. One step closer to completion.

Joe,

I recently did something like yours. My emblems were black ZR w Black Rose background. Thanks to Bob DeMarco and Chris Gilliand, the ZR-1 now matches the gunmetal. CORVETTE rear emblem and is finally visible.
BTW, if anyone wants my old ones, they are available.

I really like the fender panels, this is something I've wanted to do for awhile now. After seeing them done it's definitely on the list.

When we originally painted the car, we painted the one emblem on the bumper. Over time, the paint wore off on the bow tie and ZR-1 lettering. I had been searching for emblems and of course copper ones weren?t available so I stumbled upon these a few weeks ago that I thought would be a nice contrast. I have to thank G8Nightman for them.

Did you drill holes for the emblem posts or just trim them off? Does anything normally secure these from the back side of the panel?

Just got new ones from Ecklers and have to paint and decide how to stick on.

Joe,

No such thing as "little things" when you get the bug.
Every little detail count!
Job well done! It's a beautiful car.

We trimmed the post off, didn't want to take any chances of drilling holes or scratching the paint. Not much about this car is original, so the decision was pretty easy.
