Re: Checking in on the 'hood.
Very hard to believe that one month ago this was something seen on the news but not something that was about to re-shape our lives.
My wish and prayers are that all of us with our families and friends get through this. It has certainly put all things in perspective almost immediately. Keep yourselves and your families safe until we all get beyond these difficult times. My best to all, and THANK YOU for thinking of this thread. Marty |

Re: Checking in on the 'hood.
Doctor on the news this weekend said it well "The virus doesn't spread itself, people spread it"
Stay home if you can, stay distanced, and wash often. My little business, I've got the service guys coming in at staggered times when we can, and I kick them out early if they are back. For the time being I've told them all they will receive checks for at least 40 hours. I can't keep that up forever. |

Re: Checking in on the 'hood.
We're doing ok here in the northland. My only problems are it's still to cold to work in the garage, and the snow the other day caused them to spread more road salt.

it's still pretty quite here in NH, but I' sure it's coming. Starting to here about hits closer to home.

Re: Checking in on the 'hood.
Fortunately do not know anybody that has been sick, south of us down in Massachusetts they have signs at the border that if you cross over they recommend a 2 week quarantine.
Workload has lightened up for us as well. trying to keep the guys busy for their 40 hours also.

Re: Checking in on the 'hood.
My wife and I both have health issues, but I’ve been able to order groceries online and then schedule a pickup. The personal shopper loads the groceries in the rear and I drag it home.
I wipe down all items with disinfectant clothes and the bring them inside. I did sneak out with the Z on some quiet backroads. We kept more than 6 feet away when passing other vehicles. [emoji16] Upon return, I had the Z quarantined in the garage for 14 days. If there are no signs of sickness, we’ll sneak out again. My gas mileage is 2 gallons per month... Be safe everyone. We’ll get back together again. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry

We didn‘t know a few weeks ago when we changed the clocks
that we‘d be changing from Standard Time to the Twilight Zone! Stay well all. (with gloves, of course...) |

Re: Checking in on the 'hood.
To be very honest, things are very much business as usual. I am considered essential personnel so I just go to work as usual. Theres only 10 confirmed cases in my entire county of about 48k people... People here seem not to be worried about it really. I know Im not. Governor is going to phase 2 order Monday which means "Safer at Home", instead of "Stay at Home" Thank God.... My wife is a real estate agent and was on track for a record year in sales... this stupid crap killed it...
