Default Good article on our cars

Looks like they might wake up and start to appreciate our cars

Good article for the brand although a bit light on factual accuracy. Also, was dark blue ever a factory color? I don't recall it being so, just Steel Cities, Quasar and Admiral. Is this one of those in special lighting? Maybe Quasar? Looks like Laguna Blue from 1966. --Bob

Thanks for posting---More money, even late is ok.

For me, the ZR-1 is still the only wide body corvette to have the wider body integrated into the total design, rather than adding fender flairs and the plastic front fender extenders on some cars. Air flow did not get much money in those days. One reason I purchased the jack puck so not to damage the body skirt the ZR-1 has that the normal c4 does not. To bad this car never got the development money needed.

Happy Trails

I’ve seen that picture over the years and don’t know what color that is.

That is none other than Bright Aqua Metallic, as seen under very low light conditions. It is beautiful in the sun. Just ask Demps! Under certain light, it can even be mistaken for Quasar Blue!

That makes sense.

The front turn signal marker has a image and glare of the sun and it looks awkward. The sun setting with the low light makes sense based on the reflection of the front turn signal marker.

Even the little mountain in the background looks darker.

Kudos to the photographer!
