Default Representing for the ZR-1 Family

I spent the day at the annual car show here in town about 350 cars total.... only 2 C4's.... my Z and a 91 vert... I was astounded by the amount of questions we received and the interest from all the different age groups. We were asked 3 times by 3 different people what modifications we had to make to "get that engine in there"... 2 older gents were pretty well versed on the Z.... but most were just relatively clueless. My son and I enjoyed hanging out and educating people!!

Great looking car! Looks like you actually had some sunshine! Lucky you! Our driving season here in the Northeast has been a bust this spring.

Car looks fantastic!

Are you going to be able to join us at the Rocky Mountain Run in July (tenatively set for July 19-21(22?) in Canyon City and then to Blackhawk and twisties in between?)

Possibly Paul.... My son is getting married the 21st. Remember I offered for everyone to come over to my house for a meet & greet... refreshments... maybe lunch... I havent heard back from anyone so I could try to plan something out and hopefully make some part of the run....

People often ask me if I regret selling my ZR-1s. My primary regret is that I don't get to go to shows and have the experience you and your son had. That is what I miss the most. Being the only one and enjoying talking to car people who don't know about the ZR-1. Love it! --Bob

Very cool! Was the only Z at a local meet recently myself and had similar experience. Lots of fun!
