New owner of 1990 #2511
I recently purchased my ZR1 at the Barrett Jackson - West Palm Beach auction. The attached pictures were made prior to the auction at the Cars of Dreams in Palm Beach. The car has just over 26,000 miles and is in very good condition. There are a couple of mechanical issues that i need to correct and with that done I hope to have a few years of fun.

looks great!
Are the ZR-1 side badges aftermarket? Mine ('90 #2288) doesn't have those.

I don’t believe any 90’s had the side badges...

The fender badges came on the later year models. None originally on the '90, but you see quite a few of them added on.

The side badges were on the car when I bought it. I know that there is also an aftermarket extra cover for the console. Even though I am having a couple of technical issues with the car it seems to have been well taken care of over the past 28 years.

Re: New owner of 1990 #2511
Beautiful car the black waist stripe really sets the car off.
I remember car buyers/magazines complaining that the 1990 Zeds were too difficult to differentiate from the L98 powered cars. This was only compounded when both the Zeds and the L98's both shared the convex rearend and square taillights. I love the salad shooters, so much better than the sawblades, but it's tough to beat a set of A-molds. I love the red on red, I hope you drive and enjoy the car.
