Default Looking for some history of this poster

IMG_8882.JPG

As the subject says, does anyone have information about this poster? I am finally getting around to displaying some collectibles in the garage and curious about this one. Thanks in advance.

Could be a David Kimble piece

Thanks Phil! That is the first that came to mind but the work seems to be different and not as detailed. I only found this post, but it does not ID it.

My thoughts exactly its in the Kimble style. Also Craig I have several similar views before but not that view. Shes a keeper and would make it into my garage art wall collection immediately lol

Thanks for your thoughts Daryll! Yeah, I should not really care who or where it came from. Either way it’s going on the wall today!!

I have never seen this poster before. I am sure it is not David Kimble. We have seen David's drawing of the LT5 and true to his drawings, his work has the complex layered look.

I am not a expert but this looks like someone else took a go at it around '86. I can't tell on my phone, are those simplex single row cam chains?

This is before David Kimball was ever commissioned and I am guessing nothing like this would ever be reproduced as a poster out of the Chevy 3 design studio...?

Nice find!

Thanks for your input and I appreciate it. It really does not appear to be Kimble. I think you might be right about it coming from GM as it came from a dealership. I noticed the “LT5” is a bit different too.
