Trying another new spray polish.....
Although I have enough detailing products to last me 3 times over..... I still had to try another spray polish.....now not one for following instructions to the "t"..... I did not remove any of the previous polish and wax on the paint as recpmmended.... I have obtained a decent shine over the last 4 years.....so the gloss and depth factor was already there.....this new product goes on very easy and wipes off just as easy...... I could have done the whole car in minutes....but just decided to do the hood and check it out..... I will say that I can't tell a big difference from before.....other than the easy application and slickness of the product.....
I have a 11 foot ceiling in the garage and the pics show that you can reach into the hood and touch the ceiling.....of course the true test for me is out in the sunlight.....that's where I can determine even the slightest difference in the paint....as I know every mark.....fine scratch and any minor swirls that are still present in the paint..... So we shall see......either I buy more cars to use up all of these products.....or just use them up more on what I have..... I think I know the answer to that!!![emoji16]20180220_195958.jpg20180220_200030.jpg20180220_200053.jpg Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk

Re: Trying another new spray polish.....
Thanks.....anxious to see it in the sunlight as mentioned.....
It is the Top Coat F11 product......have watched many videos on it and thought I give it a try.....expensive......but they were offering a discount....I like the easy on and off of the product......but when you think about it.....most products will go on easy and off easy....if you already have "tons" of products on the finish.......just like you and I do.......lol

Thanks Charlie......not quite as good as what your paint looks like.....but for the wear....tear and miles on mine.....it is fine.....it's a survivor...........sunlight test later today......

Re: Trying another new spray polish.....
Ok did the sunlight test today.....it was passable to me....although it does have depth......the paint is not flawless......paint correction would not be able to get the paint to a near perfect level.......only a repaint would accomplish that.....but for what it is....even with all the flaws.....it is acceptable.....
the test results....... looking at the hood.....if you look closely......you can see minute marks in the paint.....but way better from when I first purchased 4 years ago..... the Sun really brings out all of your imperfections.......

Re: Trying another new spray polish.....
Very nice Tom! TopCoat F11 is awesome stuff. You will notice it gets even better with each additional application.

Re: Trying another new spray polish.....
Quote:
these are just my opinions..... 1-most polishes and waxes will give you the same or near the same results if applied and removed properly...... 2-and what I mean by that is having a clean cool surface to work with.... although this product and others have shown them being used on "dirty" surfaces.....and not using the same "cloths" for the entire vehicle..... 3-most polishes and waxes.....regardless of who makes them will leave a "smear" surface when used by hand.....especially if there are other polishes and waxes on the surface previously...... 4-when using a buffer.......those "smears" are usually not a factor...... 5-what I have found that works for me....is that after each application......is to use a damp cloth and a clean dry cloth......and go over each section to help remove any polish or wax that remains on the surface....thus producing the "smears".......before applying the next application......if there is one.....and that goes for hand or machine removal of each product being used..... 6-and this is especially important to do after the final application of whatever product is used.....either by hand or machine removal..... 7-I also follow this procedure when using any spray product.....such as others I have used and with the Top Coat that I used today..... 8-Once you get the surface to where you are satisfied......then applying a spray product will save you time......but I still use the damp cloth method anyway...... 9-I stopped using terry cloth years ago.....as I feel as some others do that it will put micro swirls into the paint.....I will use them on wheels and other areas to clean..... 10-I only use Micro-Fiber cloths for either washing or polishing & waxing any vehicle......there is a debate on which Micro-Fiber cloth is the best.....that is something everyone would need to decide by trial and error.......determining which one works the best for you......and there are different grades of the Micro-Fiber cloths out there...... again.......JMO...... Have fun shinning up your ride.....

Re: Trying another new spray polish.....
Do you think it is a good sealant or not?
