"The Beast" and "The Toy"
Back in early October my wife Patty spied an ad in the Saturday morning paper for a car that she had really fallen for years ago. We were at a favorite Corvette show of ours and while wandering around we came upon a bright red ZR-1 with red leather interior. I don't recall what year that car was, but with a ZR-1 it really doesn't matter does it? Anyway, she REALLY liked that car and has never forgotten it.
So when she saw the ad in the paper she said that we should go look at it. Well, I'm never going to turn down an opportunity to get a close-up look at a legend! The car was a 1990 with just over 7,500 miles on the odometer and as you can imagine it was STUNNING...!!! No way could I imagine something like that ending up in OUR garage. Well, a couple of weeks later (with several sleep deprived nights thrown in for good measure) "The Beast" (my nickname for it) is parked next to "The Toy". Still can't believe it...!!! Here's a few pics of "The Toys" (all are clickable for larger versions) A personal plate was ordered in December when the plates expired. Patty suggested "NORSK Z". We're looking forward to the return of good driving weather so we can enjoy driving "The Toys" again...!!!

Thanks all! Would like to get to BG for the gathering but that week I'm already commited to going with a friend to California to help drive the '82 CE he bought last December back to the MidWest. Will try to get to BG next year.
