I was in a minor accident
I was in a minor accident this morning. :'( Nobody hurt but the front clip and corner of the hood were damaged.
I need to know if there is a difference between the hood of a standard Corvette and a ZR-1? Thanks Matt

Sorry to hear of your luck, that's too bad. I had this happen to my 96 LT4 a few years ago. You may want to start looking on CL or car-part.com for a good used hood. My insurer totaled the car because a new hood wasn't available and there wasn't a good used one nearby. If you can find one through alternative channels it may be a great help.

Man O Man... sorry there is nothing worse than an accident.
The good news is that your front end is all "regular" Corvette parts so you will have no problem quickly putting things back together.

I definitely would be upset too. But be glad it was in the front where you can get parts. A rear hit is definitely a ZR one specific parts challenge.
