1990 ZR-1 Value
First time posting, but I have been looking at getting a ZR-1 for awhile now and I am getting close to buying one. I'm looking to see what you guys think the one I am looking at is worth. I know it is very hard to give an estimate without seeing a car, but I will try my best to list everything I know.
It is a 1990 Red/Black ZR-1. 20,000 miles. Second real owner, was GM exec car for 3 years at first (don't know if this does anything to value) Paint and interior are great Has both a clear and red top Working radio Everything should be original What do you think it is worth? What should I offer at first? What other factors do I need to look for that could affect value a lot? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I hope to be a true member of the community very soon! Re: 1990 ZR-1 Value
I have yet to see anything clean in that price range with 20,000 miles. Most dealers have their cars listed for around $27k and I have seen a few private ones listed at $24k.
http://www.zr1netregistry.com/Market...-24000-MD.aspx This car from the registry has 19000 miles and the owner is asking $24k. I just want to get a better idea of what they are actually going for before I make an offer. Last edited by zkant; 01-11-2017 at 08:57 PM. |

Re: 1990 ZR-1 Value
Asking prices are not relevant. They do not represent the reality of the market.

Re: 1990 ZR-1 Value
I bought my red 90 for 20,600 about 6 months ago it has 18000 miles, new tires, both tops, all original paperwork and owners kit. The cars paint, leather windshield are all original and flawless.

Re: 1990 ZR-1 Value
Lot L95 in the post above about sums it up. Resale red, appears to be wearing its original tires, and sold for 19K.
We who've owned one know the ZR-1 is very special. But unfortunately, to the rest of the world, it's just a C4. Last edited by KILLSHOTS; 01-12-2017 at 12:28 AM. |
