Default Question about seats

I know my seats are the standard not sport but they do have all the bolster buttons on front face of seat. I could not find this in the owners manual.

Should be sport seats, 90 ZR-1s only came with 2 options, 1 or both tops and manual or auto AC. So you should have sport seats.

You should have "buttons", "switches", on both top side (front) of seats. As mentioned they are the sport seats. They are not located or should not be on the "side" of the seat in the ZR-1. Post pics when you can....

Maybe your seats have been recovered at some point. Pictures would be useful.

Well, actually In 90' I think bolster control was on the side, not the front, so you should have switches on both sides of the seat, not just one side. Beginning in 91' the bolster control was on the front of the seat. You may have replacement seats in your car.

If the bolster switches are on the front lower corner of the seat I believe you could possibly assume the model year of the seats from the switch color. If '91 seats I'd think the rocker would be "gray/orange" and if '92'/'93 the rocker would be "black/orange".

This eBay offering could be used for switch location ID for '91 thru '93. The seats are reversed in the presentation, driver is on left(worn upper bolster). A '90 would have everything on the "top" both left and right on each seat.

This is typical of the '90 seat. It's a very generic image but you can certainly see the 4 seat control locations.
