Nürburgring, Germany
Just got here today was unable to put it on the track due to weather, the track was still wet after a morning rain. I was surprised how many did run today. I did not want to take a chance with a car I am not familiar with. I was able to get it up to 165mph last night after visiting friends in Salzburg.
The second picture is of the Bavaria Corvette Club, I attended their meeting last week. nelson URL=http://s1060.photobucket.com/user/nslinkman/media/image.jpg1_zpss1fwkd2u.jpg.html][/URL]

Looks like a lot of fun Nelson. Can't wait to hear the stories when you get back. Front row left, bring her and her C1 home with you.

Re: Nürburgring, Germany
Steve you run your car at the Nordschiffe if you have track insurance, usually only 3 labs depending how busy they our. The insurance for my Audi was $ 580 with a $5000 deductable. Than they usually let you run the track. I was there earlier today and the Grand Prix was being used by car manufactures. For about $ 400 you do 5 timed laps at the Nordschiffe. In Order to race you have to get your car inspected before they allow you to run.
I took several pictures but it takes too long to up load. Nurburgring is in the sticks. I stayed at the track Hotel and was able to open the window and see the cars run. Cost was $119 per night during the Grand Prix it cost $ 6000 per night, yes 3 zeros. By the way the Nurburgring is now owned by the Russians. nelson
