'90 value vs '91 value
Hi,
I'm just wondering... If you take 2 ZR-1s, exact same condition, both in red color, exact same mileage. Which one between the '90 and '91 is worth more? |

Re: '90 value vs '91 value
I think they will fetch about the same amount.

Around the same....91 front end is a little more stylish, little more aerodynamic ...Prefer the 90 wheels over the saw blades though..

Re: '90 value vs '91 value
All about personal preference I guess. I chose a 91 for the softer bodylines through the front bumper and the body color rub strip and mostly the wheels. The odd thing is I like the black rub strip on base cars but prefer the painted strip on the Zs.

Re: '90 value vs '91 value
Tough to say. You would think the 90 would be more sought after being one year only

Re: '90 value vs '91 value
I know guess that is why it balances out

Re: '90 value vs '91 value
Trying to price the 90 and a 91 today, unless they were both wrapped in plastic since the were made, I don't know that the little differences are worth a lot; certainly not to me. (We've actually got one of each - a 90 and 91 side-by side)
The 90 is outwardly unique having the old style front bumper with the new style rear. The belt on the 90 is the narrow, black rubber bumper, whereas the 91 is wider and paint-color matching. The sport seats on the 90 are (to me) horrible. The bolsters are too high, making one crawl up and over to drop into the seat. Then they press against my left leg so that in a couple hours my leg starts getting numb. However, the bolsters on the 91 are better, they didn't really get it right until 95. (So, I installed base seats in both Zs, and we love 'em!!!) The POWER switch in the 90 is manually switched, whereas the 91+ defaults to NORMAL when the engine is first started. Both Zs have the secondaries removed and are "hard-wired" to permanently be in FULL POWER setting (for various reasons besides WOT). Were I buying one or the other, all things being equal, I'd prolly go with the 91 simply because I like the body style a little better. But, price-wise, I don't think I'd pay a lot more for the little visual clues...Oh! and fender badges! But, now for a 95?? That is a different question...
