Pacific Coast Highway ZR-1 Tour
We celebrated our 10th anniversary with a ZR-1 road tour. You know you have the right woman when she's adamant about taking a 25 year old car to celebrate your anniversary. While I'm not Jim or Lyndi, I'd like to share our experience. Hopefully this will entice those on the fence about joining our Vegas gathering to cowboy up.
The best part of the trip was not car related but it sure helped us get there. Trusty steed carried us ~1,300 miles at over 24mpg. What a car! We left Vegas for the CA coast, a next day's drive up the coast, then over to Lake Tahoe and back to Vegas. Ted Still warm in the desert Lunch at Peggy Sue's AM on the beach We had a few folks taking pictures of the car. Best was a very nice Camaro and Rousch Mustang approach quickly on the freeway but slow aggressively to take a look. Hearst Castle & Pool |

Re: Pacific Coast Highway ZR-1 Tour
Wife and I just took the opposite trip a couple weeks ago, from San Francisco to LA via hwy 1 the whole way...in a rental though. But what a beautiful trip, and we have the same pictures! San Simeon and Hearst Castle, Elephant Seal Beach, me standing on rocks. LOL
We had an awesome time too, wife's first trip down 1 and she had a blast.
