My "Corvette" rear bumper emblem has some small gashes. If I order one from a vendor or ebay, are the ones for a '91 ZR-1 unique?
Mine is 15.25" long and has four asymmetrical posts that go into holes in the rear bumper. I've done a little bit of searching and thus far haven't seen emblems that look like mine. Thank you. on edit: Found one for a turquoise car on the Eckler's site: http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/1991+...1990-1995.html. I probably need a black one for my yellow car. The emblem you have now is colored how? The letters should be BLACK (likely) but the border is done differently (generally car color). Was your car colored using a correct "yellow" Corvette mix? If yes then you'd prefer a CORVETTE (black) and the border in yellow. A correct GM would be 10167089 and of course the bow/tie ZR-1 would be colored similarly. A clever painter can color to be correct. I'd maybe just do nothing (permanent) until you decided/found something correct BUT I'd buy the Eckler offering if they still have for sure anyway. Yes,91-95 emblems are ZR-1 only and pretty hard to find but they are out there. I've seen every color but white. I've even seen the Copper Metalic that was never offered on a car.
