Default Injector Housing Bolts needed

Hey guys I am replacing my injectors in Maryland tomorrow morning with some Wazoo guys and I just heard that occasionally the injector housing bolts break when taking off the housing. I am installing a ported plenum and Injector housing while doing the injectors but if I cant find someone willing to sell me the bolts I will only have to install the ported plenum tomorrow. I can buy them off you or buy them from Jerrys and have them shipped to your house. I may not even need them if mine don't break but I was advised not to take off the Injector housing if I don't have spare bolts. Id appreciate it if someone close to Westminster had a set I would really appreciate it if I could use buy/borrow (If I was given a spare set I may not even need them if mine don't break) and replace them if I need to use them. It would be nice to get everything done while I have the plenum off as I live 3.5 hrs from Westminster, MD. Please PM me with your phone number if you can help.

Never heard of Injector Housing Bolts Breaking......yes on T-30 Coolant Manifold Bolts without using some heat occasionally. And never heard of Cam Cover bolts breaking off either and I have abused them with a chisel once in a while.

Assuming you are talking Injector Housing 10mm Hex Flange....or you may be talking the Plenum T-40 bolts which you can strip the Torx but not break the bolt. I doubt you would strip the 10mm Hex Flange on the Injector Housing Bolts.

I have to aggree with Dynomite. As many of these plenum and injector housing pulls that WAZOO has done, I have never heard of any broken injector housing bolts. The problem area may be the bolts for the cooling tubes. Those tend to get corroded seized if they have never been removed.

Only bolts I have heard of braking are the coolant outlet bolts. The orginals tend to be rusted in place

I had to destroy a coolant tube bolt (cut the head off), but I was able to purchase some cap head screws at the hardware store to replace them. No problem on the i/h bolts.

Injector housing is 8mm 1.25 pitch 70mm long, there are 16 of these. Then there are 2 that are 55mm long

The coolant tube bolts are 6mm 1.00 pitch 50mm long

These dimensions sound right? Bc i may be able to buy these at a hardware store

I'm in complete agreement with all the others. It's the M6 bolts for the coolant outlet pipes to the injector housings you should be concerned about, NOT the M8 inj housing bolts to the cyl head.
Check the free download .pdf file for LT5 bolts on my website for the specs, size, length & thread pitch. You should be able to find them at Fastenal, Ace Hardware or similar store.
