Default C5 Calipers

How much work is required to adapt C5 front calipers to the C4 ZR1? Can stock ZR1 rotors be used with C5 calipers? What kind of brake lines are required?

The simple answer is a lot of work. Reason being that nothing fits as it should and unless you get a take off kit complete from another car, you will be nickeled and dimed to death trying to mail order all the stuff. Don't forget to convert to an 18" spare tire from a 2004-2006 pontiac gto. First off, do you have the A-Mold wheels? If not...this will cost a lot.

No.

The only thing the C4 and C5 share is the general hub dimension and lug pattern which allows the swap to be possible.

Lot a work and bunch of parts.

C5 calipers assuming Z06 Used about $400 ish
C5 Z06 Adaptor Brackets $170
Stainless replacement lines with banjo connectors about $120
C5 Rotors assuming stock $150-200 ranged slotted/drilled more.
New C5 PADS $100ish

The right sized wheels. 17 Sawblades wont fit for instance

a little trimming and grinding as required (Wheel dependent).Im sure im missing a few parts but needless to say Big project, Go boldly

This may be helpful

You need the C5 rotors. C4s are a bit larger in dia but not thickness.

I was curious since there is a guy local to me selling a set of Base C5 brake calipers for a good price. If it requires that much work, I don't see there being much to gain really.
