Mercury Marine builds DOHC LSx motor
This is just too good. I know an LS motor will fit in a C4.

Quote:
Rick, The LS architecture was the response GM Powertrain put together after they were shamed into it w the intro of the LT-5. The approach here mimics the original concept of adapting DOHC cylinder heads to the SBC except that the LSx block is a more modern design AND aluminum.

Re: Mercury Marine builds DOHC LSx motor
this engine or this adaptation will probably be expensive. Almost anything dohc will cost money. If I had catastrophic engine failure and I could not find another lt5 I would go straight to a big block conversion with nitrous.
