Default Quick helpful tips

Hi All,
I discovered a cool helpful tip and thought I share. Also thought it would be nice to have one thread with all the helpful tips in one location as compared to being scattered over hundreds of threads.
I had a OEM gasket stuck to an already removed injector housing, and last time I tried to remove my OEM plenum gaskets, they tore to shreds. So I thought there could be a way to save them. I use a very sharp filet knife for cutting insulation and thought it would be perfect. After removing all bolts, carefully work the filet knife between the gasket and part. Use a back and forth sawing motion and move down the length of the part. Did this and it worked perfectly. No damage to the part or gasket. The key is to have a very sharp knife (sharpened it until it will slice paper easily) and work slowly, keeping pressure towards the part, not the gasket.
Hopefully this will work for others (results may vary). If you have a quick tip for working on our Z's, please share. I always liked the tip of shoving rags down below where you are working to keep lost bolts at bay too.
