Default Show me your audio setups

My stereo doesn't work and I have decided to pull the trigger and dump the stock radio in favor of a newer variety.

With so many options out there I wanted to see what most of you guys do. Do you take advantage of the cubby holes behind the seats for amps? Do the stock amp/speakers work with aftermarket headunits?

I have a Pioneer Avic Z140 and a Avic Z150 I like them both. You have to shave an 1/8" off the bottom of the radio bezel.

I have in the past but the amps need air to keep them cool (even the digital amps get warm)

I replaced the headunit w/ Pioneer AIC Z140 and added a subwoofer enclosure w/ 10" thin profile Pioneer sub powered by an old Alpine amp I had on the shelf.

Do all double din radios require modification of the center console panel?
