Default Rear Tie Rod Ends

Another one of these Oh BTW while you're here...
My D/S tie rod end boot is destroyed. How "loose" should the tie rod end be?
This one moves around pretty freely. Want to determine whether I just get replacement boot or replace the tie rod ends completely. p/S seems in good shape.

Not that loose consider the age and the miles go for new Dom

So there should be some drag on the rod end then? This one moves around pretty easily. Do both sides? Did upper and lower ball joints last year on front end. However, haven't done front tie rod ends. May leave that for later.

Yes there should be some drag Dom. What you seem to describe was a lot of slop. I would suggest both sides as its a while you are there type of thing and considering the weather and that your interior is done go for it. I just replaced my passenger power set track two days ago because in a few weeks it will be creaping up to 100 again. (March)

Yes I replaced my upper and lowers in the front two years ago as well with Moog as well as did the Prophane total energy urethane kit. I did the Tie rod ends as well. Remember you will need an alignment after any suspension work so its best to do everything you can before the thrust angle alignment because you have to do it evertytime you change something.
