ZR-1s smoked 'em again!
The preliminary results of the Crown Point Corvette Club 6th Annual Corvette Shootout has the FBI ZR-1s again winning the TEAM TROPHY!!
 I'll post pictures and some videos later, but Kevin Costello's 441 "gave it's all", turning in the fastest speed, the quickest ET, third place in the bracket racing (before breaking down), and combined with the efforts of Bob's 427 and Petes 'lil 5.7, the day was carried AGAIN! What a great day for the ZR-1s! (If I had Dave McLellan's contact info, I'd send him the news too (hint, hint!  )A couple years back, there was some scoffing by a few in the C5/6 crowd when one of the Zs came to the line. This time around, the stands were pretty quiet: didn't hear any smack talk this year...just an occasional "geeze!', or "Wow!" What a great showing!
