Default Why the early resonator problem?

Yeah - why? A resonator that MarcH says cuts 20 HP from the output...

Did they use the same one as for L-98?

(too lazy to dig up my GM parts number index - maybe someone knows off hand?)

I can upload this GM parts publication to forum boards, if mods / admin wanna' tell me how - it's a BIG file, for all C4's.

Thanks to several guys here for sending parts FREE; BearlyFlying, WeGone, Geezer, GoldCylon, and more there, TonyD, mike100, fletchusmc...

Default Re: Why the early resonator problem?

Its probably because of a neck down like the borla, if they welded the inner diameter....choked it.

Search for Borla, I think I have a pic posted of the neck down somewhere

L98 didn't come with a resonator from the factory.

Default Re: Why the early resonator problem?

Thanks; good info...

So after I address the resonator (don't know what I'll do, except probably go with Frank's OEM pipes), ... where's the NEXT bottleneck???

and I've read that if the gasses cool down TOO much, they're HEAVIER, and harder to push.

???

And as with ANY car, there's a large vacuum out back. Is there any 'pull' on the exhaust??????????????????????????
