Default Windshields

I found a crack in my windshield last night, and am looking to get it replaced through Safelite Autoglass. According to them, they can order ZR-1 specific windshields with the blue-green tinting. Has anyone replaced their windshields with one from Safelite? How does it compare to the stock ones, and does it look like the OEM ones with the radar detector cut out?

TIA
Constantine

I didnt know anyone had it with the tint. I would be interested in seeing how it looks compared to the OEM.

Question Re: Windshields

I just checked their website and for 90-95 corvettes they show convertible and coupe. No separate choice for ZR-1.

There are no ZR-1 specific windshields left in stock. What I'm sure they are quoting you is a standard C4 windshield. Also remember there are 2 different ZR-1 windshields, small cutout, later years, and large cutout early years. Did they give you a price?
If around $500 then it is a C4 windshield. If around $2000 then it might be a ZR-1 windshield.

Small cutout or large cutout early years.
Does it correspond to the non colored window, if it is small or big?
