Default Brand new LT5 question

Does anyone know what a new (as in still in the crate) LT5 would sell for? I am looking to find a reasonable price for a complete motor that is still in the crate.
Thanks!

Funny thing, my wife asked me what that engine was worth just the other night.

It that "reasonable price" thing that might be a toughy.

Jerry's Gaskets has one on the crate. There seems to be one on ebay most of the time. There are a few around. Saw a LT5 with ZF-6 attached both new for $15K online somewhere recently.

Good luck

Thanks!

Depends if its a 90-92 engine vs a 93-95. Dunn head motor etc. A few variables before we can give you a ball park. GC

I have seen a few sell at auction for as low as $4K...most motors on ebay are listed at 6-15K, and those are not all new

Thank you guys! The one I have is one of the last ones that was available from the factory, it's never been out of the plastic, that's around the box, that's around the crate. So I was trying to get an idea of what is the market for that. I also have a crated new ZF6 transmission too. Both of which I am trying to figure out if I want sell or keep.
Thanks!
