Measuring Wheel Offset - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

I understand what offset is, but what is the best way to measure it? From what I gather from various sites, you measure total wheel depth, divide by 2 for the centerline, then measure from the lip of the wheel to the lug pad. The difference between the half wheel depth measurement and the lug pad is offset. Am I close?
