Default Frank's GSX

Folks,
Due to some health issues, I have been out of commision for over a month (the subject of my next post). So, maybe I missed it, but I couldn't find any post on here, mentioning the article on FU's GSX Stage 2 Tribute that he had built in the middle 90's.

The article is in Hemmings Muscle Machines, the Bonus Issue (All Modified Cars), that came back in Nov/Dec sometime (as I said, I've been out of commission and just read this article yesterday). The article starts on page 70 and is titled “9.51 Seconds from Flint”.

That was one MEAN STREET MACHINE. Many of you guys here on the Net have known Frank for a long time and are then likely familiar with the car. But for the newbies and near newbies to this Net (such as myself), it is a real treat to just come across the name of one of the Brotherhood in an article. It is an even bigger treat (at least to me) that it is about a car besides our Z's as it shows we are all Performance Car Folks, not just Corvette Folks.

I don’t have easy reproduction access, or I would copy it in this Post, but I know there are lots on this Net that have the ability and can do that in their sleep. So I will leave it up to one of you guys (y'all in Texas speak), to do that. The article is in: Hemmings Muscle Machines, All Modified 2012, Volume 10, Issue 4. This magazine came to me in the mail by itself (a 13th issue) since I subscribe to the mag. For newstand buyers it was supposed to be poly bagged with one of the other issues, but I am guessing it is gone from the shelves by now as I have had the issue for a while (worth checking though). BTW - As an Unsolicited Advertisement, I would highly recommend the magazine - even if it didn't have one of our own in it. If you subscribe it is something less than $2 per issue - the best $2 per month I spend.

If no one else has it, and it doesn't get on here in a few days, I will figure out a way to get the article on the Net.

A BIG to Frank!!!!

Frank,

Just brutal. Ever run it on the Conduit, Crossbay, or Connecting Hway?
